How to cook with Springhills fish batter mix

Chef Josh shows you how easy it is to prepare fish using our new Springhills batter mix. He’s the creative genius behind Springhills smoked trout and dips, spice blends and batter mixes.

Three easy steps

  1. Empty this package into a large mixing bowl. Press fish fillets into dry batter to lightly coat both sides. Set fish aside.
  2. Whisk in one can of cold beer (or about 355ml of club soda or water) until smooth.
  3. Dip fillets in batter. Deep fry or pan fry at medium-high heat for 2 -3 minutes each side. Fish is done when it flakes apart easily.
