Home delivery questions

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery is free on orders over $75 throughout southwestern Ontario, including the GTA, Barrie, Hamilton, Waterloo Region, London and everywhere in between. There is a flat fee of $15 if your order is less than $75. No subscription required.

How does the fish arrive?

Frozen. All Springhills fish comes individually vacuum-sealed, de-boned and frozen at peak freshness, delivered in an eco-friendly cardboard box so you can empty it straight into your freezer.

Do I need to be home?

No. You can leave a cooler out and we’ll bring our own ice so your fish keeps all day, or leave other delivery instructions. We have plenty of experience hopping fences, going into garages or hiding fish!

Will you let me know when it’s coming?

Yes. The Monday before delivery, you’ll get an email with your delivery day and approximate time. On delivery day, we’ll text you a reminder in the morning and again when we’re about 10 minutes away, with a GPS tracking link if you want to follow along.

Can I pick up my order at the farm instead?

Yes. Our self-serve farm store at 133241 Allan Park Road, Hanover, is open for pickup from 7am to 9pm every day of the week. You can pay with cash in the black box or by e-transfer with “farm pick up” in the comments.

How do I pay for delivery orders?

Pay by credit card when you order on our website, or by e-transfer to orders@springhillstrout.ca (auto-deposit) with your order number in the comments. We also accept cash or cheque at the door, or you can leave it in your mailbox.
